Refunds/ Returns Policy
E-books are not a tangible product. If you order an e-book we cannot process ‘returns’ in a fashion one would normally connect with the term. If you order an e-book in the wrong electronic format, we are happy to assist you by providing a different electronic format. Should we verify the file you receive is defective, we will exchange it by sending you a new file or offering a store credit for future purposes. Otherwise, purchases are considered final once the book has been downloaded from your account. At that point, you have effective taken possession of the item and it cannot be retrieved.
We are happy to process refunds in the case of duplicate orders, and funds will be returned by the same means they were received. Alternatively, you may request a store credit for future purchases and the credit would apply automatically to your next purchase.
Refunds will not be given if you did not realize you were purchasing an e-book as each product is clearly identified as an electronic format.
Printed Book Refunds and Returns
If you purchased a book from www.DayOwlPress.com or www.Microchipbook.com you may request to return the item for a store credit for future purchases and the credit would apply automatically to your next purchase. Your request must meet the following criteria:
• Books must be in new condition
• Books must be returned with all original shrink wrap packaging intact
• Media items such as audio books must be unopened and still in their plastic wrap
